We at Lotus Pilates and Yoga provide private Yoga and Pilates sessions they  can be a combination of both forms or one. Its an hour to do as you wish it is all about YOU!

The 121’s are a great for having a class at a time that suits your lifestyle, the sessions are held in the studio in Heybridge which has everything you need. The sessions are tailored to meet your own level, fitness goal and personal achievements.

As a beginner you can learn the fundamentals with confidence in moving on to a group class if that is your chosen direction. This also gives you an opportunity to find any adaptations and adjustments your body may want or need to make.

If you already have are at an intermediate or advanced level it offers you the options to work on routines that may challenge you allowing to deepen your practise and postures.

A dedicated and personal teacher is able to correct you postures answer questions and support your goals in a personal environment.

The studio is in beautiful surroundings it offers many different walks and has a nature reserve alongside the lakes. We have ample parking.


Yoga is ideal for continuous flowing exercises which can be linked together to form increasing levels of difficulty to strengthen and balance all parts of the body. Breathing and cardio-vascular health is stressed also with the importance of relaxation and mental wellbeing.


Increasing strength without increasing bulk, Pilates exercises are typically done very slowly and therefore strength increases but also control. The slow speed is wickedly deceptive and exercises the muscles completely with no impact on the connective tissues.

My group classes have a limited number of spaces so I am able to give everybody a specialised class allowing us to all work together and at our own pace. I offer you to establish your own good practice, and you can take with you as much as you wish in to your daily life.
